I am so excited about my thrift store find this past weekend. I went with the two oldest and the total haul consisted of jeans for Anna, an neat old book (for cutting / collage), a cool vintage wire top jar, a small oval picture frame, sweater for Lilly, video game of some sort that Noah wanted and the lovely little beauty above. You see, I hadn't gone in about a month but I had seen the typewriter the last time but was too short on cash to even ask what the price was (it wasn't marked) knowing what I had seen them going for online. This time the kids saw it. I still did not have much cash on me (this store only takes cash), but I had made up my mind that if it was less then 20 dollars I would get it. So I asked, and the lady looked it over for what seemed like forever. "Well" she finally said, "does 3 dollars sound fair?" Are you kidding!? I tried to contain my excitement and nearly ran to the checkout counter. It is in nearly perfect condition with only a dried out ribbon. Yeah!
Total spent on everything: $9.59
I love thrifting.
