Anna made this little structure some time ago out of the leftover cedar siding Chip used on the shed. She originally made it as a "shop" for Collin because he had been wanting one to sell I can't remember what out of. It did not seem to be getting much use, however, and spent much of its time languishing on the front porch.
Then one day I was looking over Ginny Sheller's beautiful blog when I saw her mud pie kitchen in this post. Genius. Why had I never thought to allot a designated space for the creation of the all important mud pie? Well, I made a suggestion that the "shop" could be turned into a kitchen and that has been its constant use for the last few days. Such great autumn fun.
Well, it is Thursday once again and I am sticking to my resolution to give away a copy of my new book each week in October. So, If you would like a chance to win a free copy, just leave a comment in today's post by Sunday 9am CST. (And yes, I ship internationally!)
