This is something I have been reading about for a while now, but forgetting to post on. It's called the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and it has the potential to eliminate nearly all small businesses and crafters who produce anything intended for children under 12 years of age. It is basically a good idea, that goes too far. Cool Mom Picks has a good overview of the issue, as does the Fashion-Incubator.
