When sewing for the kids, I have always used a button, from my trusty button jar, to mark the back of any skirts or pants. It occurred to me, (while stitching on 5 buttons in a row as I finished up this summer's batch of pj pants), that perhaps other sewing moms had better ideas for marking the "backs". If you have a different idea, I would love to hear it!
