Where have I been? I've been floating away in the new addition to our home. Floating drywall, that is. I am spending the better part of each day cutting tape and dripping mud. It's not the funnest thing in the world, but a necessary step in the finishing process. And, after a full year of working on this crazy house, finishing is what is foremost in my mind.
The kids have been real troupers helping out whenever asked. I also think they are enjoying the lighter school load which is the direct result of my heavier work load.
In the world outside my open windows, spring is in full swing. Little Marie goes from one big fluffy clover patch to another. She just sits in the center of them, picks a few flowers, then moves on to the next.
Hope that you, too, are having a blessed day!
