A Long Week

  Whew!  What a week.  We were hit with one of those lovely spring stomach bugs, on Sunday night, and it has left the whole family exhausted and weak. Yesterday was my day to have it.  It was also my birthday. 

          

These two books are my birthday gift from Chip.  I haven't had a chance to delve into them yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I have been wanting Whole Grain Baking ever since it came out last October! 

         

I have only just flipped through Romantic Home Sewing, but I like it already.  I have several of Christina Strutt's other books, and I regularly visit her web site for inspiration.  I'll post a little review once I have had a chance to read it.
